FAQ’s

  • Prices vary depending on what needs to be altered and the difficulty of the garment. Everything is different and is subject to change, but you can find my base pricelist here.

  • I suggest brides schedule their first fitting 12-14 weeks prior to their wedding or bridal portraits. For more information click here

  • You should bring any necessary undergarments or shapewear you plan to wear and shoes if you need the garment hemmed.

  • I take appointments between 1pm and 6pm on Tuesday and Wednesday. Friday I take appointments from 10am - 2pm. I do allow some exceptions depending on the need.

  • 103 Hidden Glen Way, Dothan, AL, 36303.

  • Thankfully, this doesn’t happen too often. I understand we all forget things and I appreciate the grace when it happens on my end. I might charge an extra fee if I made extra allowances and altered my schedule to get you in originally.

However, if you no-show with no correspondence or follow-up, you would be required to pay a deposit before being able to schedule again.

  • I do my best to have a clean work environment and take an abundance of caution when working on any project. For things out of my control, (robbery, fire, etc.) I have business insurance!

  • I require that everything be paid by pick-up or the last fitting. For any custom project or large alteration, I do require a deposit of $125 before I begin any work.

For alterations, I send invoices prior to your pick up that can be paid through the invoice online. You can also pay in person.

I take cash, check, or card.

  • I always require brides to have multiple fittings and occasionally other pieces if I have any concerns. For anything else I leave it up to the customer.

  • It depends on the difficulty of the project, but I like to have 4-6 months minimum. That leaves plenty of time for pattern work, ordering supplies, construction, and multiple fittings.

    More time = More options

  • That depends mostly on materials and the difficulty of the project. I like to have enough time to order samples and give you pricing options so the sooner we get started the better! I always suggest that you have a budget in mind, and we work together to meet those needs.

Do keep in mind that every piece is hand-cut and machine-sewn by myself alone. It might not be as cheap as what you can order online but I can guarantee you there is a lot more appreciation and thoughtfulness woven into your garment! I’ll never be able to fully express how much your business means to me but just know, it’s so much more than you might think!
